We'll recommend the right power source for each window during your consultation. Patio shades are hardwired; interior shades can be hardwired, battery, or solar.
Hardwired
The cleanest, most permanent option. Ideal for new construction and remodels — we coordinate with your builder or electrician to run power before walls close. Never think about batteries.
Best for: New builds & remodels
Rechargeable Battery
A hidden lithium battery wand powers interior shades for 6–12 months per charge. No wiring needed — recharge overnight with a simple magnetic cable. (Interior shades only — patio shades are always hardwired.)
Best for: Existing homes — interior shades
Solar-Charged
A slim solar panel keeps the battery topped off indefinitely — interior shades only. Great for sunny exposures and hard-to-reach windows where charging is inconvenient.
